Dr. William Steele
Dr. William Steele is the Founder of the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC). He has trained well over 70,000 professionals and assisted survivors and responders following the Gulf War, bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma, the tragic killings of teachers in schools, far too many student deaths by suicide, catastrophic storms like Katrina and Rita, 9/11 in New York and Washington DC and other traumatic situations across the country. His latest publication, "Trauma in Schools and Communities: Recovery Lessons from Survivors and Responders," is one of the many published resources he has developed to provide practitioners with practical, timely and evidence-based interventions specific to survivors of all forms of trauma. He continues to consult, train and develop new resources.
