For the children of Starr Commonwealth, it is only thanks to others that they are able to experience the abundance of programming opportunities available to them on our campus and beyond. Since 1988, the family of Joe and Clara Stewart have strived to ensure that same spirit live on for all of our children. For the past 12 years, this has been realized through the Ubuntu Scholarship Endowment Fund.

The Ubuntu Fund allows children in need to experience any programming available through Starr. Because of this fund, our residents have access to therapeutic, academic, and social opportunities not otherwise possible. Beyond campus, this fund allows us to provide behavioral health services to those who cannot afford them. Whether on campus or through Starr Behavioral Health, gifts to this fund not only make an impact today, but will live on in perpetuity—healing children and strengthening our Oneness for decades to come.

In this season of giving, we challenge you to consider the scope of your generosity. Imagine the collective impact we can make as we grow the Ubuntu Scholarship Endowment Fund. Together, we can continue to transform what offerings are possible to both our residents, as well as the children and families all across Starr’s reach, for generations to come. Will you support the children of Starr through Ubuntu?
