Occupational Therapist

Sara Prigorac is a licensed and registered occupational therapist. She has 8 years of experience in pediatric occupation therapy and has completed extensive training in child trauma, receiving certifications as a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP), Certified Trauma Practitioner- Clinical (CTP-C), as well as Anxiety Certified Rehabilitation Services Provider (A- RSP). She has participated in developing a multidisciplinary child trauma outpatient treatment program as well as participating in developing the occupational therapy program at Starr Behavioral Health. 

She graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a minor in Psychology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. While in graduate school she was a graduate assistant for an interdisciplinary childhood trauma clinic at Unified Clinics.

Sara is passionate about continued education, through training courses and daily interactions with her clients. She plans to continue her education in child trauma, neurosequential development, sensory processing treatment, and primitive reflex integration.

In her free time, Sara enjoys watching sunsets, spending time at the lake, cuddling with her cat, and traveling with her husband.
