On Thursday, September 17, we invite you to join us for the 10th Annual Night of Starrs—an evening that celebrates not only what we’ve accomplished together, but what is still possible.
While Night of Starrs marks a decade of bringing our community together, it represents something much greater than an anniversary. It is a reminder that every act of generosity creates opportunity. Every partnership strengthens our mission. Every supporter helps write the next chapter in the lives of children and families who need hope the most.
Throughout the evening, guests will hear powerful stories of resilience, learn how Starr continues to expand its impact, and celebrate the individuals whose compassion is changing lives. Together, we’ll reflect on the progress we’ve made while looking ahead to the work that still lies before us.
One of the evening’s highlights will be the presentation of Starr’s Stand Tall Award to Marquetta Frost, whose lifelong dedication to expressive arts education has inspired generations of young people throughout Albion. Her work has empowered children to find their voices, build confidence, and discover a sense of belonging—values that perfectly reflect Starr’s mission.

Guests will enjoy an evening of connection on Starr’s historic Albion campus, featuring hors d’oeuvres, dinner catered by Schuler’s of Marshall, inspiring presentations, meaningful conversations, and an exciting fundraising challenge that directly supports Starr’s mission.
