We are excited to invite you to our 9th Annual Night of Starrs, an evening dedicated to highlighting the incredible impact our supporters have on children, families, and communities. This special event will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at our historic Albion campus.
This gala offers us the opportunity to unite community leaders, partners, and changemakers in support of healing and hope for children and families throughout Michigan and beyond. Guests can look forward to enjoying hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and a dinner catered by Schuler’s of Marshall. We will have time for networking, a brief program sharing our impact in 2025, an engaging fundraising challenge, and the presentation of our prestigious Stand Tall Award.
We are especially proud to announce that this year, former U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow will be honored with the Stand Tall Award for her unwavering commitment to children and families. Senator Stabenow has been a strong advocate for mental health, having authored the Excellence in Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Act to establish Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) nationwide, including in Michigan, thereby ensuring greater access to mental health and substance use treatment for youth and families.
“Through Night of Starrs, we celebrate the champions and supporters who make human resilience and healing possible,” said Elizabeth Carey, our President and CEO. “This event reflects everything we stand for – bringing people together and leading with courage so all children, families, and communities can thrive.”
We invite all who are dedicated to building brighter futures for children to join us for this inspiring evening. If you’d like to register or make a donation if you’re unable to attend, please visit www.starr.org/nos.
