External Validation Report on Starr’s Trauma-Informed Schools Questionnaire (TISQ) instrument

This report features the results of an external validation of Starr’s Trauma-Informed Schools Questionnaire (TISQ) instrument, conducted by Statistics in the Community (STATCOM) at the University of Michigan. Starr administers the TISQ to school staff to measure a school’s progress on its trauma-informed, resilience-focused care implementation. Results show that Starr’s TISQ tool is both valid (measures what it intends to measure) and reliable (measures consistently).
