Starr Commonwealth is committed to educating and engaging stakeholders in an open, honest and authentic manner. One of the ways we do this is through social media.
Social media is a simple way for Starr to communicate with the caregivers, clinicians, educators and parents we serve, as well as with donors, program participants and other friends of our organization. It’s also a place for these stakeholders and the public at large to engage with us and our Starr community.
Our goal on social media is to provide information about our community-based programs, professional training and coaching, educational and behavioral health services and other resources to heal trauma and build resilience in children, adolescents and the professionals who serve them. Additionally, we see social media as a platform to encourage members of our Starr community and the broader public to engage with us in a positive way.
While we are not available 24/7, we are committed to monitoring our social media and responding to questions in a timely manner. We actively monitor our social media pages during business hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Any messages received outside of normal business hours or on holidays will be answered the following business day.
We ask everyone who engages with us on social media to stay civil, respectful and on topic, leaning into our mission of creating positive experiences and our vision of universal hope and boundless love. By posting on our social media pages, you agree to honor our core values of seeing greatness, finding courage, promoting health and fostering healing and to follow the terms described below.
