Ouen Hunter MS, MSW, is an evaluator for Starr Commonwealth. She has a Master of Science in Biostatistics and a Master of Social Work. Currently, she is pursuing an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Evaluation at Western Michigan University. Her dissertation is in Culturally Responsive Evaluation where she believes that all aspects of evaluation and research should place a high emphasis on culture and collaboration. As an evaluator, Ouen has collaborated with numerous non-profits conducting evaluations in education, after-school programs, rural areas programs, and adult education programs. As a Thurgood Marshall Fellow alum, she was a teaching assistant for the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Evaluation’s Meta-Analysis, Creative Reporting in Evaluation, and Survey and Sampling classes. She serves as a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at Starr.
